I was so blessed to be a part of not only Robert and Amanda's date at the court house, but to be able to join their family on their vacation and destination wedding in Cancun (it helps when you are dating the groom's brother). Their choice to keep everything small and intimate gave both ceremonies a very personal feel. I would like to point out that the resort in Cancun had a photographer from the venue that shot the ceremony itself, so I did not forget the most important parts, I promise! It was actually kind of nice to sit back and enjoy a ceremony without a camera in hand (even though my finger kept twitching for a shutter button that wasn't there). A little about this couple, you can simply see the love between them. Not only in the words they share or the way they look at each other, but the way they take care of each other and put each other first. The vows they shared gave me the chills and their excitement for their big day was palpable. The only thing that might trump their love for each other is their love for animals. I think if Robert let her, Amanda would own and operate at least 3 full size zoos. They even released 49 baby sea turtles while in Cancun (I'm jealous I was already back in the US for that one!). After four years together it's easy to see that they took their time to make sure they found the right person and it paid off. The first few photos are from the court house here in Dallas, and the ones that follow are from the Cancun ceremony.
Best wishes to both Robert and Amanda as they begin their life long journey together. I get to cheat with this couple and keep in touch often since I am a member of the family myself.
