This was a wonderful Summer project that I am excited to finally share with you all after several months of submitting for publication. This modern Texas prairie styled shoot was meant to encompass the beautiful landscape and culture of Texas without the standard rustic feel that often is associated with a Texas themed wedding. The simple and clean decor incorporated with cohesive Texas details such as yellow roses, white and blue blooms to eminate the wildflower sweeps found in rural Texas during the spring, as well as a large hand painted canvas quote from the famous Texas author Katherine Ann Porter. The venue the shoot was held at was the Botanical Research Institute of Texas where native prairie grasses and other Texan plants grow in a refined and modern environment. The dramatic staircase and floor to ceiling windows of the main atrium lead seamlessly out to a sweeping Texas prairie where couples can tie the knot, capture breathtaking portraits, and enjoy some of Texas' beauty even when the volatile summer weather may drive their event indoors.
There were a lot of hands that went into making this shoot a success and we appreciate BRIT hosting all the wonderful vendors. Our models Morgan and Chris were a joy to work with and made my job as the photographer a joy. Feel free to check out the behind the scenes post if you haven't had a chance to for a glance into all the wonderful vendors put into this project, and make sure to check out links to all of their pages at the bottom of this post!
Thanks again for all the wonderful vendors who were part of this shoot! Make sure to check out their websites below and give them some love if you need anyone for an upcoming event.
